Hello onweb Customers,

We would like to announce more details about current events and new plans/features which are available to our customers.

Sprint T3
We installed our Sprint circuit last week which completes our goal of having 3 T3's on diverse backbones. We are routing IP traffic over Sprint, UUnet, and MCI using the Cisco BGP4 protocol. This protocol will automatically select the shortest route for incoming and outgoing traffic.

Mercantec Shopping Cart
We are ready to officially offer Softcart V3.0, which is the online shopping cart solution by Mercantec. This plan will be available to all users on Plan 2 and higher after 11th June 97. You can find more information about features and pricing at: http://www.onweb.com.au/services/softcart.html

Origin 200 web servers
All new accounts are currently being activated on our new SGI Origin 200 server platforms. This system offers much faster CPU and IO capabilities. The base configuration for these systems will be 2 R10000 CPUs, 256MB RAM, 22GB of hard drive space. Customers should not notice any difference in the web serving environment as they are identical.

Plan 3 data transfer
We have increased the data transfer limit to 3,000 MB per month for this plan.

Real Video
We are currently beta testing and will make this product available to all customers who are currently on Plan 2 or higher. We are planning to make this available in approximately 30 days. Please email sales if you would like to be notified when this product becomes available.

FAQ
Our Webmaster will be maintaining the new Frequently Asked Questions page at http://www.onweb.com.au/support/index.html. New and updated FAQ entries will be marked accordingly for your convenience.

Log Analysis
Virtual WebTrends is one of many products that enhance our service. The makers, e.g. Software, have created a special version which is easy to configure and allows onweb customers to automatically locate, download and uncompress raw log files. Apache V 1.2.0
We have just completed installation of the final release of the latest Apache web server software on all servers. Many new features and performance enhancements come with this new release. For further information, please see http://www.apache.org

Domain pointers
We offer an additional feature that allows existing customers to register new domains that will point all traffic to your existing domain. There is a $50 one-time setup fee and you can find more information at: http://www.onweb.com.au/plans/domainonly.html
