Already there has been a great deal of interest shown in onweb's website hosting services. It has been hailed as a wonderful new way
of getting onto the internet web without much fussing about, simply because onweb offers all that is needed in the one place. The
one-stop-shop for internet hosting!
Comments put forward so far have confirmed what we already knew - that onweb's prices are extremely competitive with savings of up to
70% on some comparable services. If you are one of our customers, I'm sure that this was probably one of the deciding factors for you. If you
wish you were, we are quite happy to transfer your account to onweb with a minimum of fuss.
onweb's Discount Plan
While our plan rates are very competitive, what many people haven't yet realised is that they are even more competitive if you
take advantage of our DISCOUNT offer. As with everything to do with onweb, we try and make this as simple and practicable as we
can. It works like this. If you subscribe to a plan for 12 months (or 24 months) we will charge you only for 11 months (or 22 months). That
represents over 8% discount! Of course, you have to pay for the full 11 months initially, but this is generally no great hardship.

Case 1, a customer on our Plan 1.

New Design Services
In keeping with one of our fundamental goals of being a great host for your site, we are introducing additional website design
services for our customers. Whatever skills we do not have in-house we will get in on a subcontract basis as needed. To this end we are
continually expanding our own web of contacts to find the most talented people we can for these tasks. Even though some of this work is
performed on a subcontract basis, we will retain overall control of the task to ensure that our high standards are maintained.
Making the Most of Your Own Resources
Australians are great do-it-yourselfers, and many overseas companies do not recognise this aspect of our way of life.
Accordingly, we have found that there are quite a large number of business people who want to want to do things their way, including setting up
the layout of their web site. At the same time, there is little point in wasting valuable time in developing in-depth web-specific knowledge
when there are other people who can do the task quicker and better than you. At onweb we have enabled you to have the best of both worlds
by giving you general content and layout control through familiar tools such as your word processor and then letting us do the conversion of
your material into web pages.
Using this compromise approach, you can do the D-I-Y part, and we perform the last bit of setting it all up in a set of web pages. The beauty
of this approach is that we have set our charges at 50% of our current design service rates. That's right, a whopping 50% discount. To our
competitors, all I can say is read it and weep.
Joining the Posse - and reaping the rewards!
For those of you who like the Wild West, I invite you to join our posse. Lurking out there are lots of businesses with a bounty
on their head, although most of them probably don't know it. onweb operates a bounty scheme for those of you who didn't quite read
through all the support FAQs. The bounty works like this. If you recommend onweb to someone and they subsequently subscribe to one of our
plans, you could be eligible for a free month's rental on your site! The conditions are very straight forward - the new customer must advise us
that they were referred by you at the time of their taking out the new subscription and that they would like you to receive the bounty on their
account; secondly, the bounty is only applicable if the customer subscribes to a plan of equivalent standing as your own or higher.
Unfortunately this means that if you are a Plan 1 customer, and an associate takes out a Personal Plan subscription, then we are unable to
allocate you a bounty for that customer. We are looking at some incentive alternatives for this type of referral however - so if you would like
to give some input, we are all emails.
As I am sure you all know, word of mouth advertising is by far the best. Hence if you are happy with onweb and our services, tell
others, and we will reward you. If you are not happy, then tell us, and we will attempt to resolve your concerns.
