Additional Domain Name Request Form

As an onweb customer, you can have additional domain names point to your existing onweb virtual domain web site account. For example, if you have an on-line clothing store you may wish to have the domain names clothes.com.au, shirts.com.au, and jeans.com.au all point to your account. This is an excellent way to increase your visibility and bring more visitors to your site!

onweb can either register a new domain name or transfer an existing domain name.
Additional domain names point to the root level of your account just like your original domain name does. Additional domain names cannot point to a subdirectory of your account.
Each additional domain name for your account costs only $15 per month with an initial $50 setup fee.
This service does not include e-mail related services or an IP address. However e-mail referenced by additional domains such as anything@additionaldomain.com.au can be received and forwarded through the main account, and acts like a second default for those emails.
There are no separate usage statistics generated for additional domains. Since additional domain names merely point to your account (just as your original domain name does), statistics are only generated for accesses to your account; there is no distinction made as to which domain name people used to get to your account.

The AuNIC (the governing agency in Australia) charges a registration fee of $125 for each new domain name, which covers 2 years.
The InterNIC (the governing agency in the US) charges a registration fee of $70 for each new domain name, which covers 2 years. After the 2nd year they will charge you $35 per year.
onweb will charge you a $50 setup fee and $15 monthly fee for each additional domain name.
Information sent to the AuNIC/InterNIC will be taken directly from the "Edit Account Information" section of the existing domain account Control Panel.
Additional domains are not new accounts, they are merely pointers to an existing onweb Plan 1 or higher web site rental accountt, and do not include mail-related services or an IP address.
